It all started with the desire to move the basement laundry to the main floor. This spacious home was taken from country to lodge in this whole house remodel.  I used my architecture background to re-envision this home with a low front porch (only 6' head height by railing) to this vaulted masterpiece.  By restructuring the roof and adding on we were able to accommodate the addition of 2 side by side home offices in the front of the house, new laundry room, large pantry, new master closet, guest bath, and a vaulted foyer. This home had many levels with steps on the main floor and there were several stairs to the front porch.  The goal was to bring all the floors up to the same height, and the front and side entry almost level with the driveway.  This would have been much easier to envision if I there had been the 3D visualization programs we have now.  I did hand drawn isometric drawings of how this house would look when remodeled.

Swags and cascades grace this arched window in this recently completed project.  The simple design accentuated the arch and draws the eye to the beautiful ceiling panels and detailed trim work.

Posh Boutique

Posh Boutique was a fun project and the girls were great to work with.  The owners had a vision of the look that they wanted to achieve, but needed guidance on how to layout the chic modern clothing racks and built in modules.
